The Starette Dance Company
was created to offer additional dance and performance opportunities. Teachers motivate the dancers to set personal and team goals and to grow as a person as well as a dancer. The Starettes are dedicated to providing inspiration and entertainment to the community.

The Starettes also compete at competition and have won platinum/absolute, high gold, gold and high silver trophies as well as being recognized for special awards.
The Starettes enjoy team bonding activities, cultural events, and most of all, each other!

5.15.11...The Starettes head to competition, Turn It Up Dance Challenge, May 15th in Concord, NH. Wish us luck!!!
4.22.11... NEW 2011-2012 handbooks and contracts are available! The 2011-2012 Starette Dance Company will accept members thru June 11, 2011.
12.12.10...Thank You Starettes for bringing holiday cheer to residents living in nursing homes! On December 4th, the Starettes visited and performed at Summer Place Senior Residence in Chelmsford and Meadow Lodge Drum Hill Assisted Living in Chelmsford. On December 11th, the Starettes visited and performed at Atria Longmeadow Place in Burlington. Happy holidays!
7.1.10...Congratulations Starette: ARYN COLONERO on an inspiring performance at Nationals! Aryn Colonero competed with her modern solo, "Hallelujah" at the Dance Ovations Nationals competition on June 30, 2010. Aryn once again earned an Absolute. The Specials Judge called Aryn down to the front of the stage. He told the audience that at this point in the specials he likes to pull out someone who has really impressed and made an impact on him. He said he couldn't take his eyes off Aryn while she was dancing and the story she was telling. He could see that she was truly dancing from the inside.Then he asked everyone to be quiet, because the second point was important, he wanted everyone to know that Aryn is a "recreational" dancer (the only one there!). That she accomplished what she does with minimal time in the classroom (Aryn worked with Miss Dawn in the classroom for less than 12hrs!) The judge told Aryn she blew the judges away! The Specials Award he gave her was "Masterfully Mesmerizing! A True 'Special Award'. We are so proud of you, Aryn!
5.2.10...Congratulations Starettes on a fabulous competition experience! The Starettes competed at the May 1, 2010 Dance Ovations competition in Seekonk, MA. Results: The Starettes were recognized for a number of special awards! Jacqui Cohen's solo "Completely Committed to Your Choreography", Aryn Colonero's solo "Outstanding Intensity and Commitment", Musical Theater- "Three C's- Cute, Clean, and Charming", and Sr Hip Hop "Creative Costuming and Choreography". Awards: Gold- Musical Theater "Supercalifragilistic", Int Modern "Azini", Sr Modern "Gunpowder", Jr Hip Hop "ABC", Int Hip Hop 'Ghosts', Sr Hip Hop "Intergalactic", Lyrical "Slow Dancing", High Gold- Tap "Smooth Criminal" and Jacqui Cohen's solo "According To You", Absolute- Aryn Colonero's solo "Hallelujah". Congratulations Starettes, we are so proud of you!
