                    Policies

                    Dress Code
                    • ALL CLASSES except junior and senior division Ballet : Any combination of dance dress, leotard, camisole, tights, dance shorts, dance skirt, or dance pants. Hair in a ponytail or bun.
                    • Junior and Senior division Ballet: black leotard, pink tights and optional sheer ballet skirt. Hair in bun using a bun cover.
                    • Male Dancers:T-shirt and sweatpants or shorts
                    Footwear
                    Be sure to visit DanceTime's Shoe Swap! Don't think of them as used, think of them as broken-in! Please consider donating your old dance shoes to the Shoe Swap.
                    • Primary Division Classes- pink ballet slippers, black tap shoes(Please replace tap ribbon with elastic)
                    • pink split sole ballet slippers- jr and sr div Ballet (solid sole is fine for ages 3-8yrs)
                    • black split sole tap shoes- jr and sr div Tap (solid sole is fine for ages 3-8yrs)
                    • suntan split sole jazz shoes- jr and sr div Jazz and Musical Theater
                    • suntan toe thongs- jr and sr div Modern and Lyrical
                    • black, low-top, split sole hip hop sneakers- jr and sr div Hip Hop
                    • NO SHOES (bare feet)- jr and sr div Acro

                    DT will send information regarding programs, rehearsals, and recital via email. Let's go green!

                    Snow Days
                    DT will not hold specific snow-day make up classes. Every dancer is invited to take TWO EXTRA CLASSES in a comparable class any time October-April. Cancellations due to weather will be announced on the DT answering machine. Since most of our classes begin after the school day, DT does not automatically cancel classes when Bedford Schools close. Snow Days are payable. There are no tuition reductions for snow days.

                    Absences
                    If for any reason your child must miss a class, she is invited to make up class in any comparable class. There are no refunds or tuition reductions for missed classes. If a junior or senior division student misses more than three classes between January and April, a teacher reserves the right to take a student out of a portion of the recital dance.

                    Recital
                    Performing is a natural culmination of demonstrating what has been learned and an excitement for performing. Emphasis is placed on fun and taking pride in doing one's best!  Dancers WHO ATTEND ALL REHEARSALS and who have paid tuition and fees in full are eligible to participate. It is expected, but NOT required, that all Main Program Students will perform in the recital. For choreography planning and costume ordering purposes, students who do not wish to participate in the recital should please inform the office no later than November 21, 2011.

                    Refunds
                    • TUITION and COSTUME
                      Pro-rated tuition refund and 100% costume refund when written notice of withdrawal is received prior to 11/21/11. After 11/21/11 tuition and costume refunds will not be made and parents of student will be held financially responsible for total annual tuition and costume. Tuition and costume fees are non-transferable.
                    • MILITARY MOVE OR PROLONGED ILLNESS
                      Pro-rated tuition refund any time during the year with moving note or doctor's note.
                    • SIX WEEK CLASSES
                      Pro-rated refund when written notice of withdrawal is received prior to the second class of the session
                    Late Fee
                    $10.00 fee will incur for payments received 7 days after due date. An additional $10.00 per month late fee will incur the 1st of each month until payment is received.
