"Miss Monique" Monique Dorian

Monique has been dancing and performing for over 16 years and teaching since 2002. Monique earned a degree in Dance and Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she studied dance- training in modern, jazz, hip hop, latin/ballroom, salsa, ballet and lyrical. Monique has studied master classes with Paul Taylor, Parsons Dance, Mark Morris, and the Martha Graham Company and continues her dance training by attending professional dance conventions. Monique has performed with troupes including WIC, Tracy Varga, Hips On Fire and The Russell Jackson Formation Team. She is a former Amateur Open Gold Competitor and has placed in several National Dance Council of America Ghampionchip Finals in the United States. Monique is also certified in Hatha yoga and incorporates elements of Vinyasa yoga in her yoga and Yoga/Pilates blend classes. Monique is excited to share her love of movement with the DanceTime dancers.

Angelica has an A.S. in Theater from Middlesex Community College, MA and 17 years of dance and theater training. Angelica studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, pointe, ballroom and theater at DNE School of Dance in MA, Academy of Ballet Arts in MA, Lakes Region Summer Theatre in NH, Middlesex Community College in MA, Mass College of Liberal Arts in MA and Master Theater Classes with Lisa Morris and Penny Ann Maas. This past summer, Angelica spent the summer in London studying Shakepearean theater and dance. Angelica has six years of teaching experience and has choreographed dance, theater and competition numbers for MCLA Dance Company, Riverside Church, CHS/McCarthy Theater, DNE School of Dance and DanceTime.
Performing is a passion for Angelica. A classically trained vocalist, she studied with Kathleen Toohey-Carbone (former Opera Singer, NY). Shining on stage, Angelica has won awards for "Most Musical" and "Best Stage Presence and Style" at competitions. Angelica is looking forward to her second year at DanceTime and sharing her love of dance and theater with our students!
